Bake feta and tomato pasta

 Baked feta and tomato pasta is a simple yet delicious dish! Here's a basic recipe you can try



 

**Ingredients:**

- 250g pasta (such as penne or fusilli)

- 200g feta cheese

- 400g cherry tomatoes

- 3-4 cloves of garlic, minced

- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Fresh basil leaves, chopped (optional)

- Red pepper flakes (optional)

 

**Instructions:**

1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F).

2. In a baking dish, combine the cherry tomatoes, minced garlic, and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper, then toss to coat.

3. Place the block of feta cheese in the center of the baking dish, surrounded by the tomatoes.

 

4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the tomatoes are burst and the feta is soft and slightly golden.

5. While the feta and tomatoes are baking, cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.

6. Remove the baking dish from the oven and stir the tomatoes and feta together to create a creamy sauce.

 

7. Add the cooked pasta to the baking dish and toss to coat, adding a splash of reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.

8. Serve the pasta hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves and red pepper flakes if desired. Enjoy!
